I also have a permit for 10/13. Overnight but my friends want to try to do it in a day so now we are planning on leaving at 0'dark hundred. Hopefully the warm weather will make the trail passable. We'll have to hope for the best. I have a couple of spots on my permit. I summited in July but my friends haven't. We have been pounding the 6 Pack multiple times and did them all again since August plus White Mtn., but this is another thing altogether. Thanks for the pics and descriptions.
