What happens to any left over space?There is a freeze on reservation transactions from March 15 to April 20, while people receive their lottery results and any errors are resolved.
Any remaining space and space from cancellations will be added back to the calendar of available dates after April 1. If you wish to add to your group size, or change dates you can reserve the remaining space in the
end of April.
For trips starting in May, June & July; apply April 20, 2011
For trips starting August, September & October; apply April 27, 2011
We can NOT report on the status of your application. It is impossible to find or intercept an application at this time. Results will be sent by mail.

How do we do it?
Applications are stirred into random order .....
and put in a big box.
After February 15, we begin making reservations from applications drawn at random.
Late arrivals are added to the box each day.
As each application is drawn, a reservation is made
if quota space is still available for the entry date and
the group size you requested.
Expect notification of results by mail ...after April 1st
