Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Missing man on MR -- Recovered

He might have fallen down one of those steep gulleys on the west side of Whitney. Remember, he was without a pack, so no water, etc etc. My location is a guess based on their saying "southwest slope" and 12,500'.

He was only a quarter mile from the JMT!!
