It's like Navy Pass and Candlestick Peak...both are referred to a lot on this site but go find them on a map.
i think you are mistaken.
a search of this site shows 61 "navy" hits. two were from this discussion and only one other - and that was from a couple of years ago.
a search of this site shows -0- "candlestick" hits.
perhaps you saw these references on another site?
you are correct - i could not find either of them on any map i looked at.
