Reading this forum is part of my acclimatization process.
I'll be day hiking to the summit on July 31.
This will be my second time and the plan is exactly like past year. Going "solo hiking", 2 nights at Portal leaving 3 am.
I hope the bear who scared me last time at the parking lot be busy doing something else.
