It's a little far removed now, but I did Baldy via Bear Canyon (old Baldy Trail) on 4/25. The trail is basically all southern exposure, so no snow even close to the trail. We only saw a few patches once we got on West Baldy and saw some on the faces with northern exposure.
This year was a very warm winter and there have been very few storms recently. I have been up some of the higher So Cal peaks in June and still encountered snow, but not this year. Get up there early before they get crowded :-)
