Thanks for the report, and congratulations on the summit. Yes, dawn can be pretty icy up there. It's a little crazy about jerky -- I've taken it on many hikes, but most of the time, it just doesn't appeal to me when I am there.

I don't how one can have shoes that are both "low top" and waterproof. What do you have?
