Rogue, that was an exciting trip report. I am quite impressed with your photography skills as well. I can only dream of spending that much time in the Sierra, but alas it is nearly impossible for me (unless I win the Lottery!). One day, my sons and I are going to take the Yosemite to Whitney trip and your trip report gave me quite a few ideas on planning, training and equipment choices.
