I have been sculpting sea turtles, whales, frogs, etc for over 30 years, but I've gotten quite a few comments on this one. I didn't really expect it, but I figured you may want to see this little creature......only about 2.5 inches long. If I hid one on Whitney, maybe archeologists would find it in a few hundred years!

QS,
Great panda.
How about a marmot or a grey-crowned rosy finch?
Journey well...

Great sculpture. Very playful pose.
Whitney Kung Fu Panda?
Maybe a bear cannister in between the paws? Or a marmot?

Very nice Joe! I also liked the golfball-frog you ran by me last week.
I still think you need to take a crack at a marmot or a pika . . .

I like the Panda, he/she is really cute. 2.5 inches, wow that's small, you must have very steady hands and excellent focus. Your work is soooooo beautiful. Go ahead, hide it, I want to find it.

Hide it, but don't tell the geocache peeps, there will be rescues all winter. At least SRS will know where they are trying to go.

My wife loves Geocaching! In fact, she bought GPS's for all the kids. Lots of geocaches in Lone Pine area. I don't think you are supposed to put caches in places like the Whitney Zone, National Parks, etc.
I'm working on a mouse right now.

How about a marmot or a grey-crowned rosy finch? Joe: I second Gary's motion for a cute little marmot! Oh, make it FAT marmot, please! Kristine
