No, it is not a known line! It is so rugged and remote, that very few hikers travel that route in summer. ...and then where would you come out? The Horseshoe Meadows road is closed for winter at the 5500' elevation.
A few people will try climbing toward Mt Whitney with skis, and try skiing down, but they are few. Unfortunately a couple of college-age hikers tried climbing Mt Whitney last spring with the idea of skiing down, and they both lost their lives.
