Successfully completed approximately 45 miles from Mono Pass (north) to Tuolumne Meadows, via Parker Pass/Koip Peak Pass/Gem Pass/1000 Island Lake. Fantastic route, and very secluded (we only saw two people from Parker Pass to Clark Lakes). I never could get a clear answer from the rangers with respect to exiting to Tuolumne with a Bloody Canyon permit, so I just grabbed a High Trail permit last minute to make sure I had a legal exit. We bagged Koip Peak the morning of day two after camping the first night at the bottom of Parker Pass just below Koip Peak Pass. Fantastic summit worthy of its SPS status. Birds eye view of the Ritter Range and Lyell/McLure, great view of Mono Lake, plus views from the Convict Lake peaks to the south all the way to the major peaks of northeast Yosemite (Dana, Conness, North, Matterhorn). Not one mosquito the entire route, water crossings were quite low, and the air quality was perfect.

Here is a Relive video/track of the ascent from camp up to Koip Peak:
