After a successful summit of Whitney in June of '23, Dad and I are looking to do Big Willie this year. Does anyone have a GPX file of the trail from Shepherds Creek to the top? Looking to camp at Anvil the first night and summit the next morning.

Any advice is super helpful!

Yes and no. I’ve been up Williamson 7 times. Camped once near the Pothole, once at Anvil (February 1996), and twice at Shepherd Pass. I also dayhiked it 3 times. I typically create GPX files before I go on a trip. I almost never use my battery to create a track while I’m hiking. Send me a PM and your questions and email address, and I’ll reply with a GPX from 2020 and some answers.

It's not mine. I found one over a year ago planning my own trip and copied it to Gaia.

Let me know if the link doesn't work. I can try emailing it to you.
