I love hiking Mt Baldy regularly and have hiked it many times (Baldy bowl trail) during a particularly big snow year in winter 2023 . After this week's storm (Feb 2024), I'm wondering when it would be safe to hike it again? Do we need crampons? Can we wear spikes if just for the trail? Also, do we need snow tire chains or 4wd/awd to access trailhead?
