Was able to sneak out for what is likely my last outing of the season (coming from Riverside) and had an itch to get near the east side of Yosemite and Mono Lake (one of my favorite areas in CA). Had beautiful weather and amazing views from North Peak. Also got a chance to spend some time near Mono Lake and was treated to some amazing afternoon lighting on the lake. Hope the picture links work here. No issues getting up to Saddlebag Lake with respect to road conditions, and the route up to North Peak was clear of snow the entire way. Not a long outing to hit North, but man is the scenery on the way up picturesque, and the summit views were great. Glad I took the time to go visit this peak.
