I had this crazy ordeal and was able to get an extra permit but now the person whose name is under the reservation won't be able to go. I've been told that the system isn't setup to transfer permits and alternate leaders were not listed. So now I have to cancel and hope that no one ends up getting my 2 permits. It take up to 24 hours for the permits to appear again.
Is there anyway I can secure these permits without being awake for 24 hours to get the permits again under a different name?
I sure don't know of any way to make sure, unfortunately. It's a tough situation, but it prevents scalpers from getting reservations in the lottery and then selling them to the highest bidder.
