Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Hammock @ Outpost Camp

Dear fellow hikers,
hope everyone is safe out there. quick question: hsa anybody managed to use a hammock anywhere around outpost camp? trying to overnight it mid-july but being solo would love to shed some weight.

I would search around for photos of Outpost and see if you can spot good trees.

I think you would have a hard time at Outpost. The few trees are spaced pretty far apart.
