Hey everyone. Getting excited to try for overnight whitney summit next weekend and slowly finalizing all my gear.

Do any of you have a favorite trail map for the mount whitney trail that you bring with you and that I can print at home?

If you're not buying one of the excellent Whitney maps that are available, you can always use the Mount Whitney Guide smartphone app. Has a bunch of info all available offline on your phone.

Print from your browser, either caltopo or gmap4:

http://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=36.58379,-118.2586&z=15&b=mbt

https://mappingsupport.com/p/gmap4.php?ll=36.587473,-118.256813&z=15&t=t4

Both the above sites are interactive, so you can zoom in or out to your liking, and move around to print multiple pages.

Unfortunately the caltopo site shows two trails. The northern one (upper one on the map) is NOT a trail!!! It is the mountaineer's route, and is not a built or maintained trail. It is a "use trail" that will take you into some seriously treacherous places.
