Haven't heard of anyone using the switchbacks yet.

You should read this thread:  How are switchbacks declared passable?

This is the only picture I've seen this year of the cables section on the switchbacks, from June 17, 2017.

Summited yesterday via the Main Trail and the chute. The picture that Steve C posted is all that we saw of the switchbacks. We *heard* people say that some people had used the switchbacks, but didn't actually *see* them. We couldn't figure out how it would be possible to follow them.

A lot of the pictures make the chute look really steep. Maybe this photo will help give you and idea of what it's really like.

I really enjoyed hiking and glissading the chute, and prefer it to the switchbacks.

I talked with a young couple on 29th in Trail Camp, they said they went up trail crest thru switchbacks and came down at chute.

Sweden: go to the Picture Gallery forum. Right at the top, there's a link to instructions for uploading pictures and including them in a post.
