Has anyone here day hiked Morrison?

Thinking about going next month, and seems pretty straight forward. Either parking at the Convict Lake "lake side round-about", or taking my truck to a small dirt parking lot located at 37.584035 -118.848747

Taking East route, up and back

Any info would be helpful.

I’ve day hiked it twice. You can park at Convict Lake, head up easy terrain until you’re east of the summit, and then hike up the east slopes.

I've been to the start of the "difficulties" on the east slope and found it to be mostly class 2 (or class 3 if you lose the route).

I climbed the north ridge several years ago, but don't recommend it as a "hike"; class 3+.
