Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Any Unused Day Hike Permits?

Hi,

I'm looking for 2-4 unused day hike permits for weekends in Sept/Oct. I didn't have any luck with the lottery and I'm planning on just showing up for a chance to claim unused permits, but I would feel a lot better if I had permits prior to making the 5 hr drive. If anyone in the Los Angeles area is looking to unload permits, I'd be happy to pay for them at cost plus a little extra for your help.

I doubt you'll have any issues getting walk up permits that time of the year. Worst case scenario though you show up and they don't have any permits....just day hike Langley instead.
