OP davidb D Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 1 San Diego	We climbed Whitney on Thursday (June 13). The trail was mostly free of snow. The cables: It was cold enough for ice to form, but it had melted by the time we were on our way back. View from trail crest looking west There was a patch of snow near the summit
