It's March 15. Doesn't REI usually announce dividends about now, and more importantly, don't they have a big 20% sale to go along with it?

I suddenly have an item to buy that they carry, but don't want to spend the $ if it goes on sale in a couple of days.

The REI website says to check back after March 18th - http://www.rei.com/membership.html. The flyer to the left of this annoucement is tiny but it looks like we will be getting 20% of a regular price item and 20% of a sale item. I was wrong about the BIG sale, apparently that is not until May, around Memorial Day.

So Monday is March 18... can't wait.

Since I'll be buying two communicator units, I'll have to use my wife's membership for the second one. wink
