Hello fellow hikers, our family of four summited Whitney on Sept. 18th. Mom and Dad could not be more proud of our little troopers. A.J. six years old and Ariel 12 years old (her second summit) marched to the top on a Beautiful Sierra Day. Mom was crying while they both signed the register. Dad kept his cool. What a fantastic family adventure. My kids did Half Dome at about this age so I know what it takes to pull this off. They will remember this for a lifetime and set the bar for the next generation. What a gift. I second that 4 thumbs up.
