A group went up yesterday, via "
old" Army Pass. This picture shows why New Army Pass is the official trail now. This is just below the top of the pass, on a north-facing slope, and the snow is a wind-blown precipice-like mass that blows off the summit and collects. This Army Pass section of trail is no longer maintained.
