Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Day permit need hiking buddy

I have a day permit for August 1st and need a hiking buddy. Prefer female. This is my first time hiking to Whitney and I am a slow hiker. I will be driving to the area on July 26th to begin my acclimatization so we could meet. I live is south Orange County so if you live the area I also need a training buddy. I'm in LA and always looking for people to hike/train with. I day hiked Whitney twice last year, and would love to do it again. Let me know if you're looking to do training hikes on weekends, because it's nice to have someone to hike with!
