hello- I have an overnight permit for 2 on June 17th, I need to bring 1 extra person on that day and am wondering if anyone has room in their group for my extra person? I'm constantly checking for cancellations too. Also- where do rangers check for permits? thanks everyone!

Checking the old Unused Permits numbers, I don't think there have ever been no walk-in permits available for starting on a Sunday in June.

Yes, the rangers check permits.

I think I've been checked 5 of 7 times on the MMWT...once by our own Ranger Bob. One of the those times I was not checked was in May during the week, which really doesn't count.
