Great pictures Mark. From the looks of the ice plastered on the trees, I can't imagine how strong the winds were up there.

Wow, so much powder compared to when the last time folks went up there before the storms! I'm looking forward to going on the 5th when Kurt's doing the Whitney Clinic, but now I'm not sure... Do I need snowshoes? I noticed you guys started with crampons but ended up with snowshoes near the top.

Cristina..thats a week away and I'm not sure if you will need shoeshoes I don't know, I'm sure kurt will let us know, that was my first time on snowshoes I rented them from sports chalet for $10.87 for the day.
