Going up overnight with attempt to the Summit on the 28th. Any ideas if it will be possible to go without crampons by then?

Last year, the switchbacks finally opened up about July 1. But this year, there is much more snow, and the switchbacks are buried right now.
So I doubt that it would be a good idea to go without the crampons on your trip.
