I'm researching tents, as my 20+ year old Sierra Design Flashlight basically died last year. It had a good life, but it was time to go.

I stumbled upon these 3 tents and immediately thought of the picture I saw on this board that was Photoshopped with a Starbucks on the Summit, a luxury hotel at the Portal, and a Cable Car that ran between the two.

Anyway, what would you think if you saw any of these on top of Whitney or anyplace else in the back country?

I'd use the one on the right. It has a reading room for your blow up couch.
Love it!!!!!!!!

The one in the middle looks to be the lightest. Plus, it has a nice covered vestibule type area for your gear, and good head room.

The extra space in the other two is just greedy and unnecessary.

SteveC, found these on overstock.com.

A friend mentioned he found some camping gear for a decent price a couple of years ago on the site. I wasn't really expecting to find the type of tent that I want, but took a look and found these. I starting laughing as soon as I saw them.

Here's the photos I was thinking about when I found the tents in the original post.
