Nope. Just fruit trees. However, starting in 1972, we did have chickens and roosters when we lived in Quartz Hill (between Palmdale and Lancaster). I so loved the sound of being waken up by roosters crowing in the early morning when I still lived there, that my mom actually recorded the sound of them crowing in the morning and then sent a tape (pre-CD days) of that to me out here in Ohio so I could enjoy it here! smile So I guess if I were living in B-town, I would be in favor of anyone having a small number of chickens anywhere in town.

If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them more than the miracle of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it.
