Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Post Labor Day Availability?

I too have always gotten cancelled permits in the past but so far not this year. I check several times a day but mostly see a permit or two available for a day or two out. I think it's due to more people interested in Whitney (hiking in general) and their knowledge of obtaining permits. There is much communication on Facebook on scoring permits.
