Hi all!
I've been looking to climb Mt Whitney for a couple of years, but never could plan ahead enough to try the lottery. Instead, I've been finding available permits later in the season, starting after Labor Day. I just started looking again and there is nothing available through the end of the year! I don't think it's really booked past Halloween, so can anyone help me figure out what's going on later in the season? Is this a Covid wrinkle?
I'm sorry if missed this among the discussions, but I didn't see anything.
