Anyone want to guess where he might have been found?
Somewhere with cell phone pings, at 11,600 elevation, north-facing chute, south of the Main Mt Whitney trail. That elevation is below Consultation Lake. Rescue team was dropped in at 10,400 -- looks like Outpost Camp/Bighorn Park.
Was he attempting to climb Candlelight Peak from the Outpost Camp???
