Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Need partners for June 28th

Hey there,

I just realized I screwed up on the dates of my last post but I actually go in on June 29th which is a Friday June 30th and packout July 2nd(Sunday). We are planning to reach the summit (weather permitting) Saturday from staying in trail camp Friday afternoon and then camp at consultation lake Saturday night. Sunday mid day we will pack up and leave for the portal. If you can try looking online on recreation.gov for any extra online permits or head up earlier to get a permit inside the eastern Sierra visiting center, more than welcome to join. My friends are thinking about bailing out but I'm trying to motivate them still as we speak. Good luck.
