FRI MAY 27 2016

Temperatures remain on the moderate side with a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, over higher terrain today thru the weekend. Meanwhile, a strong ridge of high pressure is slowly building in over the EPAC, so by Memorial Day, the door will be open for summer-like temperatures. The "good old" cooler days of Spring will be only a memory next week, as temps climb to above normal, just in time for June. The Owens Valley is looking at the mid 90s by Tuesday / Wednesday and Mono County will see a temperature spread of 73 - 83F in the same time period. Heres wishing all of you a safe Holiday weekend...DMATT
