I will be in California for the summer and I want to hike Mt Whitney. I was able to get a single day pass for Saturday, Aug 8 in the mad scramble this morning; though I was hoping for an overnight pass.
-Long shot, but is there anyone who also got a pass for that day who would be interested in hiking together?
Is hiking alone safe?
