One night at 8,000 (Troy Meadow) and two nights at Horseshoe seemed to do it for me. Although I think our pace was a big factor as well. Since one of our group was struggling to keep up and slowed us down, the rest of us never ended up really exerting ourselves.

I admit that I would have wanted to keep up with the rest of my group (who are in in better shape than me) if we had been able to set our own pace. But I never had to since we all spent so much time waiting for our one slow partner.

Things might have been different for me had I been allowed to "compete" with the rest of my group.
