Hobbes, I am having trouble converting your degrees and decimal minutes to decimal degrees. Can you convert them? It is much easier if you give them in the decimal degrees like Gmap4 displays.
If you right mouse click in Gmap, it will bring up an info box with all the relevant information. Here are the decimal equivalents:
36.610671,-118.353953
Select search from the pull down menu - either of these formats will work. (It will ask you to check a box, then submit.)
Once you're at any specific point, you can right mouse click again for directions to/from.
