I think it depends on where the break is on your foot. If it's in an okay place, the Lifecycle may help as you can put more of your energy into your quads. Ask the doc what's right for you.

I hurt a tendon in my foot about 6 weeks before the Wild Wild West marathon. I could not put weight on the foot, so I used my stationary bike at home for up to 2 and a half hours a few times a week. I did not run once before the marathon and finished un about 5:45. I know, that's slow, but maybe you haven't run the WWW.

Today at the gym: 2 hours on the Stair Climber. Planning on a hike on Sunday.
