I came up to the Sierra for two and a half weeks in January. Remember the six storms that came through? I was only able to ski at Mammoth 5 days in that period, but in between storms I took some pictures.
Some mornings at sunrise, the sun would shine under the clouds from the east before disappearing for the rest of the day.
Some days there was no sunrise color at all.
