Is this something the camera does when the light hits a certain level, or was this for real today?
WPS camera showed a similar view, but out of focus in their gallery version. Would love to have the shots 20 or 30 minutes bracketing this one to see how it progressed in time lapse.
BTW: the shot from yesterday morning posted at the webcam URL is pretty spectacular, too. If you squint at it just right, it looks like either a moon jelly swimming over MW or the ghost of Mt Washington looming behind it
