Interesting that Google received permission to create the street view in the National Park. Their endeavors came up at the Seki Wilderness Planning workshop, and the presenter gruffly reported that that option had already been denied in Sequoia N.P. (...from the same dude who stated people couldn't possibly have a wilderness experience if they carried a Spot.)
They did acknowledge that a non-profit could create a video or street-view setup, but the "non-profit" part was the key. ....hmmmm.....
