Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Google Maps Street View of Wilderness

I caught this in the news here in Las Vegas also. Actually, I think I read about it online. I believe they're going to do the Bright Angel Trail, the South Kaibab Trail, and the Rim Trail . . . what I read didn't indicate the North Kaibab Trail but one would hope that will be in the mix too eventually.

Can the Whitney Main Trail be far behind?!

2112 -- when virtually EVERY square foot of the earth's land surface will be accessible in this or a similar way?

In an edit just after writing the above -- I noticed in the video just above this post that it appears he's walking downhill through the Supai Tunnel on the North Kaibab. So maybe the North Kaibab Trail will be subject to street view sooner rather than later.
