The clamping mechanism on those looks nice! My CF twist-to-tighten poles occasionally loosen on hikes. (I need to take them apart and clean everything up -- I think that would help.)
When traversing snow, I must do some sort of plant and twist motion, because my up-slope pole loosens regularly.
Unfortunately, the ones on ebay only collapse to 47". So I'd still take my poles over those.
