First post for me here. A friend and I have an overnight permit for Monday October 3. We'll get there Saturday October 1 and hopefully get an o/n permit for Oct 1-2 so we can head up to Outpost and Trail camps for better acclimatization.
I stood on the summit 20 years ago as an unappreciative 20 year old so I'm hoping the weather holds and we make it up on this trip.
