You should monitor trip reports when the season begins because it's always hard to tell exactly how things will go. I agree to say forget Army Pass but New Army is a gamble. I went up it once on June 7th 2008 which was a lower snow year if I recall right and the snow was not that heavy but did have a small cornice near the top but there were several locations that you could bypass the snow if you don't mind lower class 3 scramble to the top.

Both those images show a common theme of a large patch of snow right in the middle of the route and it being mostly clear to the left of it. That area is an easy scramble.
