That snowpack looks every bit as mythic as headlines have made it seem...especially for the Southern Sierra!

How deep was the snowpack in Horseshoe Meadows? I am hoping to take my gf on a backpacking trip to Cottonwood this summer. I'm curious as to when you think it will be melted out enough?
