I'm still working out how to embed videos - perhaps SteveC will know how. OK, got the good instructions - perhaps Steve should start a thread on exactly how to do this... Is this Yosemite? I'm not sure. Probably Norway. In any case, enjoy. Jeb Corliss wing-suit demo from Jeb Corliss on Vimeo. My favorite wing-suit flights up to this point :)

Nope, not Yosemite. The opening scene is at the Matterhorn, on the Swiss side of the mountain. It looks like the flyer started from either near or just above an alpine refuge hut on the original route on a ridge called (I think I remember this correctly) the Hornli ridge. Even after 35 years absence, it looked the same to me.
Then, there is a short cut near Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
The rest of the video is somewhere in the European alps. Obvious, because of the beautiful green mountain-sides.

The trick for posting videos: You MUST change the markup option (below the text input box) to "Using HTML and UBBCode".
However, this option is only available if a moderator sets it for you. (Just ask--it is not initially set to prevent strangers from abusing it.)

Fun video to watch by the way.

I knew instanly that it was the Matterhorn. Looks exactly like Disneyland's Matterhorn.

WOW, AWESOME, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS VIDEO, the music is good too. I wish I had the courage to fly in one of those suits. Sure would be neat if someone would build a zipline along the same path he flew.
Rod and Bob are 100% correct, it's the Matterhorn. I've been looking at the Matterhorn nearly everyday since I was 4 years old. I grew up in Anaheim less than a mile from the Matterhorn and still live within 5 miles from the Matterhorn.

Boy, he sure came close to some several immovable objects!! Pretty awesome, nonetheless.

If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them more than the miracle of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it. - Lyndon Johnson, on signing the Wilderness Act into law (1964)
