So me and my buddy are thinking this would be a good club. We have started making rules and I thought everyone here could help.

Rule numero uno: must drink a beer at every peak.

Rule Two: always be prepared for your buddy, bring two.

Rule Three: If the peak is unattainable the beer is not.

Rule four: always leave one cold in/near the car, so you have something to look forward to upon your return.

Rule five: Tequila also counts as beer wink

Rule six: Whiskey also counts as tequila wink wink

Rule seven:...

What do you think??

I like it John! You're on to something! Do they make ultra-light beer? That would be damn the calories and carbs, is it really UL? I'm all over that puppy . . .

I particularly liked your highly considerate idea about leaving one in the car. Yogi will thank you some day!

Nice thread title, by the way.

The annual award for most peaks could be called the Boonie.

Well it would be a unified effort smile

Right now we just aren't organized. I'm sure there are a lot of us out there. We all do our own thing. Just think if we could bring it all together.

I was on Baldy the other weekend. When we summited and buried our beer in the snow to chill, they were the only one's there!! When we actually popped them open, people were staring at us, it got a little frightening. They were unprepared and looking very thirsty.

I almost felt bad for them all...until I took another sip, euphoria crazy

They have something like that with runners. They are called "Hash House Harriers". But they do their runs in Underwear! They drink at different spots in the run, always cross country runs.
I'd be into this if we could hike in our underwear! That would make it a lot easier in the mornings when I'm trying to figure out how to put all my gear on. How 'bout it Moose?

Underwear = alpine lake nearby

If A = B, then you're on!

Ummm... thanks??? frown

For the record, I wear black underwear for the exact reason that I like to jump into alpine lakes at a moment's notice.

And now back to your regularly scheduled program of limericks...

There once was a Moose from ol' Bishop...

That comes under the heading of too much information !!
Honestly, I really would not have known this as I really
anticipated you wearing the orange bikini outfit you said you were going to wear in Ouray, CO at the hot springs.

There once was a Moose from ol' Bishop
Who stepped off the trail for a piss op.
In her underwear black
Was surprised by the lack
Of the tact of the pure Arch-Bishop

I knew wagga's muse would return!

Oh, and SoCal John, this is what we politely refer to as a Hijacked Thread - but it does seem to fit the theme in an eerie way . . .
