Mt Whitney Zone Forums Trip Reports Mt. Whitney Day Trip 5/10

Not really other than looking at trip reports. You could also look at the webcam for a general idea of how much snow is remaining as you see it gradually disappear day by day. It doesn't really give an impression of switchback or trail crest conditions though.

From the photos and reports, there is a lot more snow at these higher elevations on Whitney then there was this time last year.
